Government closes public places but man is told he must reopen the Public Footpath through his garden or face Court Action!

Government closes public places but man is told he must reopen the Public Footpath through his garden or face Court Action!

This is the notice which politely asks the public to stay away from one mans Private Garden.

Wales has temporarily closed ALL Public Footpaths.

The police have powers to enforce government guidelines.

Some Councils have issued temporary closure notices.

One Parish Council puts up its own notice.

Yet the victim of a Public Footpath through his own private garden is threatened with prosecution if he does not remove HIS notice.

Where are Private Human Rights?
Where is the right for a man to protect his family?

Why is a council even bothering to waste time and money persuing someone upholding government guidelines but protecting the rights of those who are NOT?

  1. Professor Chris Whitty chief scientific adviser, and chief medical officer (CMO) England states in his latest TV Advert “Do not meet people outside your home”, well how does that work then, as I still have an army of idiots walking in groups through my garden everyday?
I cannot keep 2 metres away from them therefore these “halfwits” are putting my family at RISK!
Close these rights of way through private Homes and Farmyards now as we deserve the right to be safe!!!

  2. The time may well come when those with intrusive rights of way denied the opportunity to self isolate have to decide if prosecution is any worse than Covid 19, and personally I think prosecution is probably safer than being forced to come into close contact with unknown individuals.

  3. The increase in walkers through my garden is tenfold. The regular walkers are staying away. There are cyclists, people leaving dog mess behind. It is very stressful, husband is 84 and supposed to be self isolating and I’m a career with the county council.
